It all began when I started playing drums at a young age in my father's music store here in Virginia. My teaching experience began at age eighteen, in 1997, when I started teaching private lessons part time until I figured out what I wanted to do with my life. I've taught at piano retail establishments, in home and currently I'm teaching in my own studio. I'm a recording artist, singer and composer. I've performed at weddings, graduations, multiple dinner dates and church functions. For beginning younger students, I start teaching them from a method book that best suits their learning style. My student from this program won $1000 scholarship to attend her dream University in Florida. I believe that all education starts with relationships.
