We had an artist in residence program with composer/ drummer Steve Grover and he was a big influence on me along with Dick Demers. I have performed in symphonies. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for all my students at each lesson. I create a positive atmosphere and relaxing one . I alway acknowledge how well my students do at there lesson . I teach both reading music with theory and ear training.
