I usually will put together a bundle exercises compile of flute methods and exercises I create myself to help the student progress. For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements. I work hard to ensure that all my students receive a thorough training in all aspects of drumming, including rudiments, improvisation, music theory, etc. My strong love for music is deeply rooted, and this drives me to learn as much as I can about all genres and styles. I have been teaching private lessons since 2009. I specialize in commercial styles (pop, rock, jazz, country, etc.) as well as musical theater. I encourage creativity with my students and through unusual means I have found success in getting those good habits down. While teaching, I aim to coordinate between two things. The first is to focus on the theoratical aspect of music to give the student the required basics regarding how to read musical notes. I also give the practice through Practical exercises to develope felxibility within the student while he or she is playing the instrument.
