I'm Fouad Kawsan, a music teacher since 21 years. I have received my education in the Lebanese National Conservatory; moreover, I've studied and learned the recorder and trumpet for several years. Add to that, I was a counselor guider in music, where I went to many schools that teach this subject. Furthermore, I am a huge advocate of young and older learners to give music a shot, for it can change their lives. And I strongly believe that music as a whole is my most important passion in my life because it isn't just an occupation, but it is also a life style.
I have studied music since I was a young boy .I learned music in the Higher Lebanese National Conservatory. I have taught music for about 21 years in schools and in bands and I specialize in playing the trumpet and the recorder as I have been training on these instruments for many years. I have worked in organizing music festivals and concerts. I have many years of experience when it comes to to teaching students. I have taught piano for beginners and both beginner and advanced level in the recorder instrument. I have also taught trumpet for beginners who have succeeded in developing their skills.
When it comes to students, regardless if they are professionals or beginners, I use Arban's Method; that is for the trumpet since it contains several application practices that strengthen students in terms of technique. I teach world wide classical compositions. As for the recorder instrument, I give application practices that give students felxibility while using their hands. I teach classical compositions depending on what is suitable for each student taking into consideration that students age and level
While teaching, I aim to coordinate between two things. The first is to focus on the theoratical aspect of music to give the student the required basics regarding how to read musical notes. I also give the practice through Practical exercises to develope felxibility within the student while he or she is playing the instrument. I also focus on the listening aspect to break the routine while teaching the subject and to make it more vibrant. That way the student would have obtained all the needed skills without feeling bored .
