For beginners, I usually start with the fundamentals of the guitars and it's anatomy. I split my lessons with theory and scales/studies, and then we switch to the students desired repertoire. I like to also add duets and songs or pieces in which me and the student play together, to strengthen the confidence to play with other players. I like to incorporate performative elements into my lessons, such as playing duets with my students, which is a fun and important experience that allows students to practice matching their rhythm, tone, and pitch to another plater. Each student is unique and special to me. When they enter my studio, I want them to enjoy every moment of the lesson. The student's individual personality guides me in the way I conduct each teaching session. Whether they want to play an Elton John song, a Chopin Nocturne in Eb, a Miles Davis jazz piece, or the Moonlight Sonata, I will guide them along the way.
