I began teaching violin a year after the Covid pandemic when I pivoted to in college. I originally was pursuing a conducting degree so I could work with more musicians and performers. This was derailed due to Covid however because group settings had tight restrictions. I continued my musical education after being accepted to the internationally renowned William Paterson University's Jazz Studies Program (consistently ranked in the top 5 jazz programs in the nation) at which I studied for two years. Although my journey into composition and teaching has given me practical experience on many other instruments as well, so that I am a competent player and teacher for beginner and intermediate students on piano, guitar and electric bass. I first started teaching when my piano teacher assigned me to be her assistant back in 2009, I provided her 7-28 year old students with singing lessons. As I proven myself to be an accomplished instructor I received a job as Choir Instructor at School of Music 'Vladimir Djordjevic', where I worked for 1 year before heading to Boston to start my studies at Berklee. In 2010 I started teaching private lessons part time in my home studio, where I conducted voice, piano, music theory, and solfeggio lessons to a total of 16 students, who showed incredible improvements over all 4 years that they stayed under my instruction.
