I'm a passionate instructor who cares deeply about a students education. In 2015, I graduated from West Johnston High School as drum captain in my band program. Music is my biggest passion and something I love sharing with my students. I first began taking music lessons at the age of nine and quickly took to piano. A few years later I also began studying the violin. At a young age I fell in love with music and its ability to express emotion and connect people. This is what I hope to pass on to my students. I work diligently with each of them to find the method of learning that works best for them because I desire to help cultivate their love of music. Read More

Understandably, theory can get mundane, but I try to make learning fun and applicable so a lot of what I teach directly involves playing on the keys instead of writing things in books. Read More
Instruments: Violin Fiddle
I like to create a relaxed and welcoming environment, and my students have commented on my approachability and my ability to create a nonjudgemental environment. Private lessons should be a place where students feel comfortable experimenting with what they have learned and being open to always learning new things without the fear of making a mistake. I help my students build a strong technical foundation so they have the freedom to express their creativity and play the songs that they have dreamed of playing, without any technical setbacks getting in their way.
