In 2016, I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Clarinet Performance at Morehead State University, and in April 2018 I graduated with my Master of Music degree at the Cincinnati-Conservatory of Music. To me as a musician, teaching is as important and as necessary to our art as performing, and it is always a joy to share that art with students. I graduated from Kent State University in 2015 with my Bachelor of Science in Music Education, followed by a Master of Music in Bassoon Performance in 2019, and recently completed an Artist Diploma from UC-CCM. Although a bassoonist primarily, I've performed with orchestras such as the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, and the Warren Philharmonic, as well as bands like the Akron Symphonic Winds, the Cleveland Winds, and the Packard Band. I began taking lessons on the guitar at age 8 and continues with a few different instructors all throughout my life, and still do.  I started studying Classical Guitar my Sophomore year of High School. My teaching experience goes all the way back to 2003, when I was a percussion section leader in junior high school. I was a section leader throughout high school and on into my undergraduate degree in percussion. This involved both teaching groups of my peers but also giving individual attention to anyone who needed the extra help. Through those songs, I can introduce many technical and musical concepts. It is very important that this is a positive musical experience.
