Starting out, I stress fundamentals and warm-ups to help the students create a solid grasp of the instrument, before making the move towards solo repertoire. I adapt each lesson for the individual, their interests and their needs. I have found that constant encouragement keeps students engaged and eager to learn and to let the music itself challenge the student.
