My teaching experience starts back to my beginning years of college days. I start began teaching as private lesson instructor at my previous college community music school. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I started teaching back in 1995 due to repeated requests from customers at the music store where I was working retail at the time. Turned out to be the best decision I ever made as I left the retail world within 1 more year and never went back. When I was growing up I did not have a teacher which is why I love being able to do this so much. Tiffany C. mezzo-soprano, received her Bachelors degree of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX, and has also received a Master’s degree in Voice Performance from Florida State University. Throughout her time in obtaining a Bachelor’s degree Tiffany placed 1st in many competitions such as TEXOMA NATS, and South Texas NATS. She has also received various awards such as the Harold Stark Encouragement Award, the Lucila Montoya Award for outstanding performance of a Spanish art song, and the Alice Dutcher Thornton Certificate of Honor.
