I am a very easy going, passionate and patient human being. I think discipline is game changer, but also understanding at the same time. Balance in between a good practice schedule and our will to actually seat and practice is a good key for someone at the beginning of her/his journey. After I first received my Bachelor's Degree from CSU Fullerton, I opted to showcase my original music through distinct outlets. The best way to ingrain a new concept or idea I have found is to teach someone a practical way in how to use it, usually through learning a new song or exercise which expands their horizons and outlook on things. Students will likely begin in a method book of some form, and eventually will use supplementary material as needed. The method books for Younger students typically consists of 3 or more levels depending on their skill, while the method books for older students provide a good outline of the technique for the instrument. I first started learning the guitar in high school. I found I had an affinity for the instrument so I continued to study classical guitar and piano in college. I first started giving lessons my junior year in college and have continued to teach ever since. I am also currently the music director for the Yorba Linda United Methodist Church in Yorba Linda California.
