My style is open minded. I first try to know the students' goals and prepare a course of action accordingly. Then I try to know how much the students already knows and how much talent they have. That allows me to determine how fast I may go with them or how much I must drill and develop a particular skill before going on. Once the student has grasped the basic concept of half and full steps, major and minor note, flats and sharps, we can start practicing some tunes.
