After getting my bachelor's degree in music education from University of Maryland, I taught general, band, and strings in Montgomery County in Maryland. Then I taught ukulele, keyboard, drums, guitar, band, and choir in Dayton, Ohio. Now I am excited to teach lessons in Pittsburgh. While my main instrument is saxophone, where I teach all levels, I love to teach beginners on a variety of instruments, from voice and piano to keyboard and djembe! Read More

I want the students to have input within their lessons when it comes to the music itself and how they want to progress. Read More

During lessons, we review songs, techniques, theory, and other concepts that they are studying and need to improve on. In my experience, by providing a custom lesson plan, students can improve in the areas that they want to learn. Read More

Theres nothing more fulfilling for me as an instructor than witnessing my students ignite their passion for music. In line with the teachings of great musicians like Victor Wooten, particularly his work on Music is the Language, I firmly believe that every student is a unique musical soul, and its crucial that they progress at their own pace. To nurture this individuality, I employ a student-centric approach, setting realistic and personalized goals at every lesson. Read More
