Since then, I have had students ranging from age 8 to 78, and although I am typically exposed to students starting as beginners, I would be very excited to help intermediate and advanced students learn new pieces, genres, and help hone their skills. My goal with my students is to tailor a specific lesson plan for that individual's musical needs. Some of my favorite books to use though are the Rubank series. I find this to be a very good book to help grasp the fundamentals of the instrument for beginning players.
