I work with the student to learn what they are interested in learning. All my students learn to read traditional notation as well as tablature. I like method books like Hal Leonard , especially for the complete beginner - but  I supplement with other repertoire I have found throughout the years. I graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education/Jazz Vocal Performance.
