I have been teaching for 4 years, I started in college at the National University of Colombia doing introductory lessons for children. Eversince I´ve been doing private lessons and group lessos as well an I enjoy it very much. I started with classical guitar and latin american rhythms and eventually learned more about jazz which is my favorite style. I also sing and can teach you how to comp yourself on the guitar while you sing! I{v also found thath combination of classical andn modern music can go a long way in helping sudents enjoy and motivate them to practice and continue to learn.

I generally ask what your musical interests are and then I find a method specific for each person. I work on identifying chords, improvisation,playing melodies and song writing as well. I am a fan of William levitts books or jazz guitar which is a method I learned at berklee and is a very useful book for picking teqnique in a fun way , exploring some classical etudes for electrical guitar and i find this to be a great tool for developing speed, ear training and identifying chords with different sonorities to them.
