I started teaching private piano lesson back in high school. At that time, I enjoyed teaching students as young as five years old and as old as 85. No matter the age, I felt then, and still today, that really taking the time to understand each individual student's interests greatly benefited my ability to be a sensitive, thoughtful, and successful teacher. I ask all of my student to set realistic goals and treat our progress as a journey in which we will gradually pick up the skills to grow with steady work.
