My name is Daniel Erdahl or as kids often call me, Mr. Dan. I have been playing and studying music for nearly 30 years, and teaching for 20. I play and teach many, many styles. I started playing rock and blues as a kid, later becoming very focused on classical guitar. I started teaching private lessons in high school. I taught guitar, bass, piano, voice, and songwriting lessons at Biryukov Academy of Arts and Music for 5 years for both kids and adult beginners. I have performed, written and music directed a children's theatre tour where I taught children to sing, act, and perform in front of large crowds. No matter what the ability level and age, I try to find out what music the student is interested in. I do not teach from prefabricated books but rather teach songs to students and within those songs there are lessons. I have devised my own teaching methods which have been highly successful.
