For younger students (under eight years old) I usually use the Alfred all in one book.. for older children, I use the Bastian set of four books: piano performance, technic and theory. With an intense focus on character study, I've performed lecture recitals and partial roles of Baby Doe (The Ballad of Baby Doe), Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), Blondchen (Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail) and Musetta (La Boheme). I've performed these roles and in concert at stages like Carnegie Hall, The Kimmel Center, NJ PAC, Provincetown Playhouse, Frederick Loewe Theater, MPAC and Roxbury PAC.
