Flute Lessons in Powder Springs, GA

Instruments: Flute Piccolo

I began teaching flute lessons in college about 10 years ago. In addition to private lessons I have assisted with school concert and marching bands. One of my greatest joys have always been to see my students make progress and express how happy they are with themselves after working hard, and this is one of my greatest motivations to teach and give teaching all that I've got. I love watching my students grow and develop into wonderful, passionate musicians. In order to see this growth, it is important to provide an environment in which a student feels free to express themselves. As I believe expression and creativity to be the fundamentals of music making, a student needs to be able to have fun and be themselves during a lesson. As soon as a student becomes disinterested, the ability to grow and make music has been lost. Read More
