I love when my students come back each week showing improvement and asking questions about particular things they notice in their playing. Read More

I started teaching in 2009 in Mississippi. I taught 6th grade band (beginner), 7th grade band, and high school. I taught in Mississippi for 5 years and just recently moved to Tennessee. While teaching, I've given private lessons to some of my students after school and to some students who did not attend my school. I always encourage doing a recital, entering competitions, and continuing on to college playing their instrument. I love motivating students and challenging them to be the best and nothing less. I have had the chance to perform and record in some of Nashville's most historic venues and recording studios. They may pick a few pieces or songs while I help them build the skills they need to attain for advancement. Read More
