As every student has different needs I dont have a specific plan that I follow. Rather I like to adapt my lesson plans to each individual students goals and playing ability. I always have my students work on a mixture of technique, etudes, and solo repertoire. For very early beginners I like to work out of Trever Wyes Very First Flute Book and his Beginners Book for the Flute. I also like the book Forty Little Pieces in Progressive Order for Beginner Flutists and from there progress to First Solos for the Flute Player. Read More

I am a dedicated flute instructor and performer who loves sharing her passion for music through teaching and empowering her students to meet their musical goals. I earned my Master of Music degree in flute performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and my Bachelor or Music degree from the University of Colorado Boulder. My favorite highlights of my flute career so far include attending the 2019 Marrowstone Music Festival as a flute fellow, giving me the opportunity to teach younger students while performing in the Festival Orchestra, performing Principal Piccolo with the University of Illinois Wind Symphony at the 2019 College Band Directors National Association Convention, and performing for Sir.
