Originally from Gainesville, Florida, I first learned piano, then added saxophone, clarinet, flute, and bass in my middle and high school years. As every student has different needs I dont have a specific plan that I follow. Rather I like to adapt my lesson plans to each individual students goals and playing ability. I always have my students work on a mixture of technique, etudes, and solo repertoire. For very early beginners I like to work out of Trever Wyes Very First Flute Book and his Beginners Book for the Flute. I also like the book Forty Little Pieces in Progressive Order for Beginner Flutists and from there progress to First Solos for the Flute Player. Read More

I have utilized Faber and Faber Methods for  Piano, Let's Play Jazz and More,J. Latulippe, Hannon Revisited, because I have discovered these methods to be comprehensive.
