During my college years, I worked as a graduate teaching assistant which allowed me to help students primarily in music. When a solid foundation has been established, it is much easier to approach those more complicated concepts. It then allows everything that a student do to become easier and truly move forward in their learning at an accelerated pace. I am a passionate teacher of the flute and piccolo. I am currently available to teach lessons at my home studio or online. I have helped students prepare for performances in Cincinnati and Japan, scholarship auditions, and begin the flute from scratch. I understand the needs of young students and works to instill confidence in every musician I teach. I began flute later than many (age 14 to be exact).
