I create a hands on curriculum based on the students musical proficiency. Alongside this structured lesson plan, every student will receive training on proper practicing techniques which help build their sense of guidance, responsibility, and structure. Students will also receive training for embouchure and tone development as well as warm up etudes that cater to the students skill level. I began assisting teachers during high school for extra credit. It later became my job during Full Sail. I worked extensively with grades K-5 on reading, writing and math skills enrichment. When I graduated I started to see my joy was working with children and helping each individual get to their own "next level" and that is when I began teaching music privately. I encourage my students to enter competitions and recitals of which I help with the prep for and can conduct them there if need be.  Read More

I experienced teaching all levels (K-12) during my time at Mercer; however, I completed my student teaching as a general music teacher at Porter Elementary School. I am a sensitive and determined instructor and I love teaching music and sharing its beauty. I am currently completing my studies at Kennesaw State University where I will be obtaining a degree in Saxophone Performance.
