My teaching style is based on traditional classical approach of Russian Piano teaching method. For younger, beginner level student lessons are structured around different activities and games (for very young students) to learn notes reading and rhythm. For intermediate and more advanced students each lesson starts with a warm up, of scales, arpeggios, etudes or other technical pieces. After that we move onto working on individual pieces of music. Student is explained what needs to be done to achieve desired results for each specific piece, and the homework is written in a notebook for the following lesson. Read More

I create lesson plans for students based off of their passions. If a younger child has never read music before, success is usually found in working with music that they are interested in. If a student is beginning to study improvisation a similar approach is used with styles of soloists that they are very familiar with. Learning must be fun and it must improve ones understanding of the subject at the same time if it is to be rewarding. Read More

My teaching style is a blend of structure, creativity, and student-centered guidance. I believe that great teaching begins with connectionunderstanding who the student is, what inspires them, and how they learn best. Whether Im teaching a child just discovering rhythm or a teenager preparing for performance or recording, I strive to create a learning environment that is both challenging and encouraging. Each lesson is goal-oriented but never rigid. I use clear objectives to track progress while remaining flexible enough to adapt to the students pace, curiosity, and energy. Read More
