I started my musical studies at the age of 4 singing in a Chorus. At age of 7 I started my violin studies and later Piano studies. Music has been my life since then, and I always strive to transmit that passion to my students. I have played all around the world, in Israel, Europe, South Africa and USA. I lead the school chorus and coordinate student performances for school events and concerts. These performances give students valuable opportunities to experience teamwork, responsibility, and the excitement of sharing music with an audience. Preparing students for concerts and special events allows them to see the results of their dedication and hard work. In addition to my work at school, I also teach private music lessons, particularly in saxophone. All teaching methods are different which is why I prefer to stay diverse and open to the preferences of the student. Being familiar with nearly every genre of music, I’m capable of teaching any style the student is interested in from movie scores, to broadway show tunes, to gospel, and modern, etc. Of course my favorite style and the one I recommend is the classical curriculum which I usually try to implement with each student as it has shown the best results in the past with students of all ages. With compassion and engagement, I seek to share my love of music with others. A violinist since age six, I initially majored in violin performance and later music education at Wichita State University, where I performed in the Wichita State University Symphony Orchestra. Highlights from my time here include performing with the band Kansas and with the St. Petersburg String Quartet at Carnegie Hall. My teaching experience began as early as high school when I would volunteer my time to teaching middle school students how to play instruments. I continued through college teaching both middle and high school students on my winter and summer breaks. I continued after my matriculation from university, and began to focus on the high school students.
