Alongside the Assistant Band Director Mr. Yuji Jones, I was tasked to help teach, drive, and critique students both in their music and marching capabilities. For the final week of band camp, I was able to lead the saxophones alone during their music rehearsals. I began began my musical career as an elementary school student selecting the flute as my primary instrument. I dedicated over four hours a day to practice and skill development. My time in high school led me to perform in several high profile venues which include: Orlando Theme Parks, halftime shows with Ronnie Millsap, and The Georgia Mass Choir. For all ages and all instruments, you will be working on scales, chord progressions, transposition and reading of music for piano; scales, lip slurs, technical etudes, long tones, transposition and reading of music for trumpet; and scales, slurs, technical studies, transposition and reading of music for flute.
