I've always been a passionate and curious musician, ever since I picked up a flute in fourth grade. I have been dedicated to both flute and percussion ever since then, and continue to learn and play at Sarah Lawrence College. I am currently focusing on playing in pit bands for musicals, as they are my favorite performance setting. I teach all ages and skill levels, from drumpad to drumset. No matter how young the student is, learning how to play an instrument and read music is invaluable. I help my younger students prepare for middle school and high school level orchestra, and my older students for college music auditions and solo pieces. Matt has recorded three albums with Joel on Ride Symbol Records alongside producer, Donald Elfman. Matt is also featured on pianist Clay Giberson’s newest album, "Spaceton's Approach" on Origin Records. The CD has been getting radio play on jazz stations all over the country. ALL ABOUT JAZZ calls it "One of the top piano trio efforts of the year."
