I am a passionate teacher who loves working with students and sharing my love for music and the drums. Being able to be a working musician in New York has been a dream come true, and I have been able to play alongside some of my heroes. I am eager to help you reach your goals on the instrument. Nothing excites me more than watching a student discover their own love for music and rhythm. I believe every drummer learns differently, so I focus on helping each student progress at a pace that feels both comfortable and motivating. My lessons combine realistic, achievable goals with plenty of encouragement, so that every milestone feels like a win. I also take time to understand what excites each studentwhether its jazz, Afro-Cuban grooves, or simply playing along to their favorite songsso I can tailor my approach to their unique interests. I started teaching drums back when I was in High School, in France. Since then, I have had the chance to teach students from all ages and background. I love to adapt the different goals that different people can have. As long as my students are willing to have fun and open their ears, everything is achievable. I really encourage students to find out which songs/genre they enjoy and make them play along with music to recreate a live band playing experience. Read More

I like to start off teaching how to read very simple snare drum and drum set music. Basic snare drum rudiments like Flams and Paradiddles and basic rock beat drum patterns are a fun and engaging way to start learning. I use books as well as transcribe music myself to provide my students with a visual representation. This allows for a more clear communication once the drumming concepts become more challenging and complex. Read More

My teaching methods always vary to suit the aspirations and needs of a certain student. I start off by finding out what my students like to listen to and what they want to learn from their lessons. For example, if my student was a twelve year old beginner student who wants to learn to play drums to start a rock band, then I would teach him drum grooves to his favorite songs, in order for him to be able to play it with others. In 2016 I graduate from The Collective School of Music in NYC with a Diploma in Music and Professional Drummer Performer. Having multiple influences and had studied with different teachers allows me to teach students of all ages and levels.
