Along with other musicians, I've worked with the Wirtz center for the performing arts to provide live pit orchestra for their musical productions for the past 3 years. I began teaching people how to play instruments when I was in high school, by teaching new students to the band how to play percussion. I then continued teaching once in college by volunteering at local high schools helping new students to the band programs learn brass and percussion. From there I worked with the Rich South high school band director and the Jack Hille middle school band directors. Designing practice programs that cater to the learning styles for each student is something I take pride in and find to be most effective and efficient way to improve. I will get my students prepared for any situation they want to take part in, whither it be auditions, recitals, casual gigs, recording sessions, and more.
