In Spain I shared stage as well as studios with various artist such as Aute, Beatriz Luengo, Andy Lucas, Victoria Abril, David Bisbal, Paco Ortega, Habana Blues, David Bustamante, YADAM and Cruceta Flamenco among many others. I then moved to Miami, where I have been residing for the past 12 years. For children and other beginners, I would start our lessons by encoding the basic function of music theory application of a drum pad. This will allow stick control and muscle memory to begin developing. As the beginner becomes more of a novice, I will introduce simple and repetitive songs and go over them as whole pieces. Those who are experienced in percussion, I will have them show me all of the rudiments they know, any complete pieces they have memorized, and have 5 minutes of improvisation. Read More
