I've primarily had private guitar students in the past, truthfully nobody has ever been consistent. They were all generally beginners but were at various stages. This makes learning this book fun for studemts. I also like to focus on hand technique and all of the basics for playing Drums. Patience, encouragement and understanding of where the student is musically are crucial. I like to emphasize the idea that nothing happens overnight, only through effective practice and repetition. Having this mindset, they will no doubt see results in no time.
