I also perform regularly with Samba Lolo, a renowned World-beat/Afro-pop ensemble led by Mali native Boubacar Diabate. Recent venues include theAfrican Festivalin Lowell, MA and theNortheast Kingdom Music Festivalin Albany, VT among other clubs and festivals across the United States. In addition to these creative endeavors, I have recently been touring and recording with the renowned World fusion band Newpoli. I also studied with Ed Mann, longtime Frank Zappa percussionist and teacher at Cal. Arts. Understanding the undertone of music and how it should be felt by a listener or an audience. 3- Placement. This is the art of putting different little embelishments, in music, and in songs.
