I am a dedicated working musician currently playing and recording with many local artists. I take pride in my ability to play drums in many musical situations, and I think it adds greatly to my ability to teach many different musical styles. I find that teaching allows me to share my knowledge and be a positive force in a persons learning journey. My method of teaching is that I always start from the theoretical part of every instrument or skill I teach because if they don’t have the background understanding they will be limited in their performances. I motivate by telling them my story how I started with no instrument I used borrow a two octaves keyboard from a choir member just to learn the piano my self I had no internet and no money so if I was able to learn in that condition they can do better.I teach the secrets of becoming a professional musician or music producer which one of them is consistency. I also focus on what rhythm really is and try to get the student to develop timing skills and reading skills too. I like to teach songs for several reasons, one being it teaches the student to develop certain skills and timing skills that are necessary for the student.
