I have a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Texas, and Masters of Science in Music Technology from Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis. They had a tenor sax that they let me play and I was hooked! I made the top ensemble after my first semester and never looked back. I made region band every year after that and earned 1st divisions on all my ensembles and solos. I played 1st tenor in the jazz band in High School and started to think I could do this for a long time. I got a scholarship to UTA and marched with them for a few years while I concentrated on classical saxophone and studied jazz. Read More

In high school I had the great privilege of being selected as the Principal clarinetist in the Minnesota All-State Band. We performed at the summer camp designed for these groups and recreated our performance at Orchestra Hall, home of the Minnesota Orchestra, the following spring. Clarinet is my primary instrument and first love. I also teach saxophone and beginning flute and hope to add other woodwinds in the future.
