Once the fundamentals from those books have been understood, I will start the students on repertoire that is appropriate for their level. I urge my students to practice regularly on a consistent schedule; improvement is dependent on this, but I also encourage them to explore. When students have successfully completed the Suzuki books, I will introduce them to pieces that would be suitable for a recital performance. For adults, I will base instruction off of Suzuki but also find material that will keep the learning process fun and enjoyable.
