He  is the head of the Instrumental department at Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington DC. He pretty much sparked the idea of education in music for me. I love working with younger students because it's important to remind them of the importance of exercising your vocal chords properly. I also discuss the importance of eating the right healthy foods to maintain a healthy voice and lifestyle. I often invite the students to my events to encourage them to continue to be disciplined and learn all they can while they're young.
