I have the most experience teaching beginner students with the Suzuki method. The main focus of Dr. Suzuki’s method is teaching from a place of love and encouragement. I find this method teaches the technical fundamentals of cello playing while keeping the students progressing at rate suitable for their individual needs. I encourage students to set goals for each week and complete them. If your children want to learn the cello, I will use encouragement and play as a way to introduce music.
