I began teaching cello part time 7 years ago when I was a freshman in college in Cincinnati. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching students from age 4 to 54. With students of all ages, I like to emphasize the importance of consistent practice in order to see improvement in their playing. However, I believe that learning to play the cello should be fun! My teaching experience began around 2012 when I taught some of my teacher's students while she was out of town for the summer. Throughout college and graduate school, I maintained a small studio of a handful of students. After graduating in 2016, I began to grow my private studio as well as working with music schools throughout Denver, including Denver Public Schools, and Douglas County Schools. Since then, I have continued to teach and gain valuable experience both in private and group lesson settings, and with younger and older students. Going into my sophomore year of college, I realized just how much I loved teaching. From 2004 - 2014 I taught all Band Instruments, Piano, Violin, and coached singing lessons at the McCord Gallery and Cultural Center in Palos Park, Illinois. I got start teaching lessons as 6th Grade Saxophonist. I was selected to tutor two students from the 5th Grade Beginning Band.
