I am a performer and educator based in Long Beach, CA. I received my Bachelor's of Music in Cello Performance at the Bob Cole Conservatory of 2021. I have been very passionate about teaching cello since I started in 2016. I have performed in several venues in Southern California as a soloist, as well as in orchestral and chamber ensembles. From a family of musicians, I started playing the cello at the age of 5. After being a cellist for the Conservatory of Quebec Orchestra in Saguenay, I switched to percussion. I recorded the Flight of the Bumble Bee for the first time at age 14 and became a symphonic percussionist later with the National Art Center Orchestra of Canada as well as for the Ottawa Symphony while playing for the Starlighters and Savoy Swing Band at the Penguin cafe in Ottawa. It's easy to lose interest if stuck on one piece to long so we'll move through the material as quickly or as slowly as the student desires as long as the foundation is there. I am teaching the students by wide range from beginners to most advanced. I use Suzuki method combined with traditional teaching materials and traditional teaching methods for advanced students. For younger students, I mainly use Suzuki teaching method, combined with etudes, like Alwin Schroeder's 170 Foundation Studies. Teaching all age group students with scales as well.
