I'm an engaging and energetic musician/teacher that thrives in helping my students discover their passion for music. After graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts (concentration in Creative Writing and Jazz Studies) in 2005, I have spent the past 17 years helping hundreds of private students of all ages, ability levels, backgrounds, and styles discover their musical voice on their chosen instrument. For more formal styles, I will use traditional methods created by Hal Leonard, Mel Bay, Frederick Noad etc.. I cater the lessons to the individual student. Some may have a wide musical background. Some may not have any. Sight reading and method books are a must.
