This will teach the ins and outs of how music works and how to apply it to any music you are approaching no matter the genre. While we go through the books, we will incorporate music that the student wants to learn. We will breakdown why the music is the way it is and work up from the bottom how to play those songs. I make sure that beginner students understand the instrument and start with the proper technique before they can develop bad habits. I try to pick a song or finger exercises for them each lesson as well as a few exercises where they can develop their reading skills.
