When I began taking lessons, I put in time to learn technique, scales, arpeggios, but also had a teacher help me explore learning songs from recordings, aural transcriptions that transfer to your instrument. I graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Guitar Performance. During my time there I performed in the annual guitar ensemble recitals, honors recitals and my own senior recital. Since graduating I have gone on to teach a diverse group of students of all ages.
