I have a degree from Wayne State University where I studied Jazz Guitar and Music technology.  I've played in bands ranging from Big Band Swing to Country to Punk Rock playing guitar, bass and piano/keyboards.  My studio is equipped with two amplifiers and the ability to record the student for playback. I began teaching music in high school, a friend coworker had a son that wanted to learn trumpet and it was a fun way to make money. As I continued into college, I learned that I was able to give lessons to members of the band or choir as an employee to the Adrian College Academic Services Department and I was happy to do so. In addition to Adrian College students, I also gave lessons to local high schoolers (mostly tuba players) and many where featured and scored well in state Solo and Ensemble exhibitions. Read More

I've been pretty successful as a private math tutor since 2009, and more recently I've also been tutoring in ACT prep, SAT, prep, and C++.
