I have a library of material that I use to teach instrument fundamentals, solo repertoire, rudimental vocabulary and most important music theory and language. Goals vary from student to student, I am here to help exceed those goals as well as having everyone walk away feeling accomplished and comfortable with their weekly efforts. Music is my life. On any given day I am either performing, rehearsing, recording, teaching or studying. I perform on a regular basis with my Jazz trio and other artists from various genres. I have written 2 drum books which I use as part of a comprehensive teaching method. All students will learn an equal balance of snare, rock, and jazz drumming, as well as soloing. I encourage all my students to pursue their own style. More advanced studies will include Latin drumming and odd meters.
