I am a voice teacher in the Chicago West Loop area. I am originally from Madison Wi, and I moved to Chicago earlier this year after Marrying my lovely husband, Brett. We have sang at churches across the midwest together. As a teacher I have taught at numerous institutions including Merit School of Music, Peoples School of Music, Children's Theater of Madison, and Stoughton Center for the Arts. For the past 20 years, I've studied and performed with keyboards, guitars and woodwind instruments while exploring a very wide variety of music ranging from classical and rock to jazz and avant-garde. I have been singing since I was 6, playing trumpet since I was 10, and I picked up guitar in my early 20's. I am now 49 and have taught voice, guitar, trumpet for over 7 years from my cozy home. I have been part of many musical ensembles (in many genres) in my 30 year career and have session work that's currently located in the Seattle Rock Roll museum.
