I do not punish a student for incomplete homework, however I stress that the homework I assign is to help them on their musical journey. I studied with a professor for 6 years who was an expert in Dalcroze Eurhythmics which focuses on singing with gestures and dancing out rhythms and melody lines.I love solfege and incorporate it everychance I get when learning a piece.
