Instruments: Voice
First and foremost, the main end goal for me with every single one of my students in my studio is attempting to develop the same love and passion for music that I have been so lucky to develop through having enthusiastic, knowledgeable, talented instructors as well. While I would love to see some of my students pursue a degree/career in music past a few years into high school, I realize that that is a tough calling to follow, and many times people sing or perform more as a hobby than a career choice. My voice and piano studio teaching had it genesis in 1985 with a private home studio in Chicago. Since then, I have taught in church programs (choral students working on solo voice) as well as in the university setting (student teaching and TA voice class support). I have also led seminars in Group Voice and Cantor Training for Church and Liturgy and Worship. Wherever you are at, we accept, as a dual-team, and then, collectively design a way to help you achieve what it is you desire. Read More

I have been called the female Jack Black by many of my former and current students. So I do believe you could say that I am fun, I make things comfortable and provide a great environment to learn, but then I can also truly be serious and strict when it comes to practicing and performing. Expectations: Practice DAILY. Be ready for each lesson. Be willing to communicate with me about things you do not understand. Read More
Instruments: Piano Voice Flute Piccolo
I have taught multiple beginning flute and voice students throughout my college career, as well as assisting the music students at Rolling Hills Elementary School in Mukwonago with their head start program. I wish to continue on into graduate school for Music Therapy, and for this reason, I also have experience working with both adolescence and adults that have developmental disabilities. I believe that music can be enjoyed by people of all different ages and experience levels, and I hope to work with students like these that are eager to learn. Read More

I have been singing since I was 6, playing trumpet since I was 10, and I picked up guitar in my early 20's. I am now 49 and have taught voice, guitar, trumpet for over 7 years from my cozy home. I have been part of many musical ensembles (in many genres) in my 30 year career and have session work that's currently located in the Seattle Rock Roll museum.
