I started teaching back in 2015. I began with teaching small groups of kids and teens ages 4 to 18 in the regional art center in Moscow, Russia. I had singing and puppeteering groups. My students had recitals on the art center stage, went to singing contests and did some recordings. Soon after starting teaching groups I got private students. I moved to US in 2017. Here I continued teaching singing in private. Currently I am accepting private students, teaching an acting class in the local art center in Philly along with small singing groups. Read More

I believe that each student needs to set their own goals and therefore I like to go at the pace my students prefer. While I am happy to help set some basic goals and will assign work to do outside of our lessons, I believe that long term goals are our own. Therefore, if you are getting ready for college auditions or simply improving your singing so that you can share your music with loved ones, I will go at the pace required by your goals. Read More

I'm an award-winning singer and songwriter, but I LOVE to teach! My passion, more than anything else, is making sure that music is enjoyable and students gain a sense of confidence on their instrument. I do this by building strong, supportive relationships with my students and tailoring my teaching to help them achieve their goals, whether that's becoming a superstar "shower singer" or a professional gigging musician. My instruments are piano, voice, and guitar, but I also teach songwriting, music theory, and basic music production. Read More

It is important for both me and my student to have long-term and short-term goals. Long-term goals may have to do with technique--for voice, examples may be releasing tension or singing with proper breath support. Short term goals are more linked to repertoire and can be technical or musical. An example on the piano may be playing through a piece with a particular metronome marking. I have each of my students use a practice log so both the student and I can keep track of short-term goals. Read More

My teaching style consists of setting realistic short term and long term goals for my students. I always make sure my students understand the material I am showing them. I encourage them to challenge themselves to achieve their goals they never thought they could achieve. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. Read More

My teaching experience dates back to my college days. I have held a private studio focusing on the core concepts of singing, vocal tonation and breath support since my third year in college. I help my students to find their own voice and their own sound. I don't encourage students to emulate the style of other singers but rather to find their own sound. During my tenure at Peabody I performed in various shows both on and off campus, including summers via many prestigious programs in Europe to include; Read More

I received a Master’s degree in Music from the Boyer College of Music in Philadelphia, PA in 2015 for Vocal Performance. Before that, I graduated from the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P.I. Tchaikovsky in Kiev in 2013, where I received a Bachelor in Music, took parts in a lot of operas ("Le nozze di Figaro", "Eugene Onegin", "Faust") and also earned a certificate of teaching. While at the Kiev Institute of Music, I took part in different international music competitions, and performed concerts and operas. Read More
